About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join a mission-driven team at the forefront of innovation in aerospace and defense technologies. In this role, you will operate across the entire engineering lifecycle, transforming concepts into fully integrated, test-validated systems. You will act as a key bridge between cross-disciplinary teams including software, electrical, and mechanical engineers, ensuring system coherence and mission success.

If you thrive in complex problem-solving, love working on cutting-edge projects, and excel in structured systems development, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Full Lifecycle Engineering:
Work from initial concept through to final delivery, covering requirements gathering, design, integration, testing, and deployment.

System Requirements Engineering:
Define, manage, and analyze technical system-level requirements in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations.

Architecture & Interface Design:
Develop robust system architectures and define seamless interface specifications that align with functional and non-functional requirements.

System Integration & Testing:
Lead integration efforts of multi-domain subsystems. Oversee Verification & Validation (V&V) activities to ensure system-level compliance and performance.

Trade-off Analysis & Technical Evaluation:
Perform system trade studies and risk analysis to support data-driven design decisions and technical feasibility studies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and mechanical teams to ensure consistent delivery across domains.

Standards Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all systems comply with relevant military, aerospace, or industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, ISO 15288, MIL-STD-499C, etc.).

Documentation & Reporting:
Generate high-quality technical documentation, test reports, interface control documents (ICDs), and participate in design and risk reviews.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:
Identify, diagnose, and resolve system-level issues encountered during testing or operational phases.

Minimum Qualifications

🎓 Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

🧠 Experience:

  • 2 to 5+ years of proven experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or high-tech embedded systems sectors.

  • Hands-on experience across V-model systems development, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and agile systems engineering practices.

🛠 Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in one or more tools such as:

    • DOORS (Requirements Management)

    • Cameo/MagicDraw (MBSE, SysML)

    • MATLAB/Simulink (Modeling & Simulation)

    • Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, or similar tools

  • Familiarity with integration of hardware and software components into full systems.

🗣 Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and systems thinking ability

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to lead and contribute in cross-functional engineering teams
