Role Overview:
As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade wireless solutions in one of the most technologically ambitious environments in the world. This is a high-impact, onsite role requiring deep expertise in wireless architecture and a proactive approach to problem-solving and solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end design, deployment, migration, and optimization of wireless network infrastructure across large-scale enterprise environments.

Translate complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable wireless solutions—supporting both presales engagements and project delivery.

Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and detailed Change Management/Implementation Plans.

Conduct detailed RF planning, predictive modeling, and wireless surveys to ensure optimal coverage, performance, and compliance with security policies.

Build test environments and simulate deployments to identify and resolve complex network issues before rollout.

Ensure seamless integration of wireless solutions with LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring end-to-end connectivity, redundancy, and performance.

Align all technical deliverables with defined business objectives and ensure consistent tracking of key performance metrics.

Work collaboratively with project stakeholders, engineers, and leadership teams to shape the future of wireless infrastructure in NEOM.

Champion automation and process improvement to streamline deployment and operations.

Adhere to organizational processes, security standards, and quality assurance frameworks throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Skills & Experience Required:

Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) – including configuration, tuning, and upgrades.

Expertise in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) architecture and large-scale enterprise deployments.

In-depth knowledge of RF design, wireless site surveys, heat mapping tools, and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax), wireless security protocols (WPA3, 802.1x), and interference troubleshooting.

Experience with wireless monitoring and automation tools such as Cisco DNA Center, Prime Infrastructure, and Cisco ISE.

Solid networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, QoS, VLAN segmentation, and network protocol analysis.

Familiarity with Wi-Fi 6/6E technologies and their deployment considerations in high-density and mission-critical environments.

Proven ability to lead technical projects in large-scale enterprise or public sector environments.

Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise Wireless, CCIE Wireless, or relevant SDA specialization.

Experience in smart city or public infrastructure wireless deployments is a strong advantage.

Exposure to cloud-managed wireless platforms (e.g., Cisco Meraki) is a plus.

Prior experience working in high-security or government-backed environments.
