Key Responsibilities

Technology Vision & Strategy: Define and lead the overall technical architecture and tech stack for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and subsequent product releases.

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team including front-end, back-end, and AI/ML specialists.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and AI researchers to translate the company vision into scalable, user-friendly, and performant solutions.

Infrastructure & Security: Oversee the design and implementation of core infrastructure, cloud architecture, and robust security protocols to ensure high availability and data protection.

AI & Machine Learning Integration: Drive the development and seamless integration of cutting-edge conversational AI tools, natural language processing (NLP) features, matchmaking algorithms, and personalization engines.

Roadmap & Fundraising: Collaborate with the founder to build a long-term technical roadmap, contribute to investor presentations, and support fundraising initiatives.

Innovation & Scaling: Lead efforts to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability as the user base grows globally.
What We’re Looking For

Proven CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior technical leadership experience in a fast-growing, consumer-facing tech company.

Hands-on track record of building and shipping web or mobile applications, ideally in B2C, social networking, recommendation, or matchmaking domains.

Strong expertise in AI/ML, particularly in conversational AI, NLP, recommendation systems, personalization, or vector search technologies.

Deep understanding of system design, backend architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.

Ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage startup environments, making critical zero-to-one product decisions and owning the full delivery lifecycle.

Bonus skills: Experience with large language models (LLMs), social networking platforms, matchmaking algorithms, and scalable recommendation engines.

Startup or founding team experience highly preferred.

Willingness to work remotely with occasional travel to key hubs such as Dubai or London.
