Position Overview: Customer Engagement Manager (CEM)
Sabel Systems is actively seeking an experienced Customer Engagement Manager to join a high-impact project supporting the U.S. Space Force’s Digital Engineering Environment (DEE), known as Spacestation. This remote role focuses on user onboarding, technical support, and continuous customer relationship development to ensure seamless adoption and operation of DEE tools.
The ideal candidate is a proactive technical problem solver with excellent communication skills, capable of liaising between end users, internal teams, and management. This role directly supports mission-critical operations in space systems and digital engineering.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing users of Spacestation, providing multi-channel technical support and rapid issue resolution.

Troubleshoot and resolve common user problems during the first contact, including password resets, login issues, and environment errors.

Conduct user validation and compliance checks following Information System Security Manager (ISSM) guidelines.

Deliver basic and ongoing training to users on digital engineering platform functions and standard operational procedures.

Create, transcribe, and manage incident reports using helpdesk ticketing systems.

Develop and document standardized operating procedures for customer engagement and account management.

Act as a liaison between end users, team members, and upper management to ensure clear communication and issue escalation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with organizational leadership and users to understand and anticipate their needs.

Identify business expansion opportunities and new use cases for digital engineering solutions.

Prepare and present key metrics, reports, and user feedback to senior management.

Lead or participate in “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) sessions and other user engagement forums to foster community support.
Required Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance before hire and eligibility for up to Top Secret Clearance.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship skills.

Proven experience in technical support or customer engagement within a secure or government environment.

Ability to adhere to strict security protocols protecting sensitive information.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities.

Must be located within the Pacific Time Zone.

Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications

Certification meeting DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Hands-on experience with digital engineering technologies or government digital systems.

Proficient in building professional MS Office documents and executive briefings.

Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
