Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Operations Analyst to help design and deliver a secure-by-design experience for Wiz employees and customers. This role balances productivity enablement with robust security measures, ensuring comprehensive protection of our digital environment. You will be the frontline defender, managing security incidents, improving security operations, and collaborating cross-functionally.
What You’ll Do

Perform security alert triage, investigation, and resolution, escalating issues as necessary to minimize risk.

Develop, update, and optimize standard operating procedures, response protocols, policies, and security guidelines.

Review and audit SaaS application security configurations, partnering with IT to implement risk mitigations.

Conduct regular access reviews, identifying and remediating potential access risks and anomalies.

Manage and maintain security infrastructure including endpoint security, antivirus/anti-malware tools, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), network protection, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) systems.

Continuously monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure Wiz’s security posture remains top-tier.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure product development and deployment.

Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms to analyze security event logs and identify threats.

Contribute to a remote-first, SaaS-first organizational culture with strong communication and teamwork skills.
What You’ll Bring

2+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related cybersecurity roles.

Deep understanding of endpoint security, identity & access management (IAM), vulnerability management, and cloud security fundamentals.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and threat-hunting skills.

Proficient in interpreting complex security data and clearly communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Azure Sentinel, and familiarity with log data analysis.

Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and agile SaaS environment.

Knowledge of security frameworks and standards like NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Hands-on experience working within SaaS product security teams.

Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages to automate security tasks and enhance detection capabilities.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with their security services.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are an added advantage.
